AT&T Calling Card Terms and Conditions

  1. Effective 8/1/01, these terms and conditions are subject to and part of the AT&T Consumer Services Agreement, including the AT&T Service Guides, found at http://www.att.com/serviceguide/home or by calling 1-888 288-4099.

  2. You agree to pay for all charges incurred with the AT&T Calling Card and to comply with the other terms set forth here and in the AT&T Consumer Services Agreement, including the AT&T Service Guides.

  3. Your AT&T Calling Card is not transferable. You may authorize others to use your card, but the responsibility of payment for the charges incurred remains yours.

  4. Charges for AT&T services, which will vary depending upon where and how you call, will be rated and charged in U.S. dollars in accordance with the AT&T Consumer Services Agreement, including the AT&T Service Guides and effective tariffs. The rates and charges applicable to AT&T Calling Card calls are available to you upon request before you complete a call. The service charge as of January 2003 for a state-to-state AT&T Calling Card call using 1 800 CALL ATT is $1.50 for a non-operator-assisted call and $7.50 for an operator-assisted call. Calls placed from payphones are subject to a Public Payphone Surcharge. The service charge as of June 2002 for an in-state AT&T Calling Card using 1 800 CALL ATT ranges from 25¢ - $1.25 for a non-operator-assisted call and from $1.20 to $5.50 for an operator-assisted call. These charges may vary if you have an AT&T calling plan or use other dialing methods (e.g., 0 or 10-10-ATT). A Universal Connectivity Charge (UCC) will be applied monthly as a percentage of all state to state, international long distance charges and service charges after all discounts have been deducted before taxes.   5. The AT&T Calling Card is the property of AT&T and must be returned at AT&T's or its agent's request.

  6. You must notify AT&T of any address change by calling 1 800 CALL ATT or by writing AT&T Calling Card, P.O. Box 944037, Maitland, FL 32794-4037. When outside the U.S., call collect: 816 654-6000.

  7. For AT&T's messaging services used in conjunction with the AT&T Calling Card, AT&T will attempt to provide such services as described in its marketing materials, but does not warrant such services to be error free or fit for any particular purpose. You may not use AT&T's messaging services for any unlawful purpose, and you are responsible for and will hold AT&T harmless against the consequences of unlawful use or any slander, libel or other actionable content in any message. The liability of AT&T, or any of its employees, agents or cooperating service provider(s), arising from any misdelivery, non-delivery or any other errors or omissions in the provision of such services is limited to an amount equal to the charge for any such service(s).

  8. The CALL ATT Calling Card is subject to limited availability. AT&T reserves the right to refuse to issue certain card names. You must be an AT&T Residential Long Distance customer to get a Calling Card. Other terms and conditions apply.

  9. Your account may be subject to a maximum monthly usage limit.

  10. If AT&T suspects fraudulent, abusive or illegal use of your Calling Card, AT&T may, among other things, suspend, restrict or terminate your card without notice.

  11. AT&T reserves the right to deactivate your Calling Card without further notice to you if you leave AT&T for your Residential Long Distance Service OR if your card remains inactive for a period of at least 12 months.
